Nuestra última inmersión en la gastronomía madrileña nos sorprende con una idea divertida, a buen precio y mejor paladar.

Su temática, como habréis pillado al vuelo, gira en torno a las croquetas (¡bienvenidas sean!) y juegan con el contraste entre la comida tradicional, como puedan ser las ya citadas croquetas, las migas o las albóndigas, dándole la vuelta a la tortilla y combinándolo con ingredientes poco usuales en este tipo de cocina.

El concepto es muy de lo nuestro; como ellos dicen, picar y probar, ofreciendo pequeños platos para que puedas combinar y degustar un poco de todo.

Nos estrenamos con el aperitivo por cuenta de la casa: dumplings con salmorejo … ¡esto marcha!
Continuamos con las croquetas y seleccionamos las siguientes: de pato con foie (4,10€); líquidas de queso sobre confitura de tomate y aceitunas negras (3,00€); y de setas sobre tomate caramelizado y parmesano (3,60€). Mira que no soy muy de foie, pero reconozco q estaba muuuy buena. La de queso tiene el toque innovador por su propio concepto, te la comes de un bocado y el líquido se desborda por todos lados, y de sabor estupenda; y la de setas… se merece un OLE en toda regla o como diría la Sta. Tenedor ¡increíbles!

De las ensaladas escogimos la de brotes tiernos, pollo en yakitori y piña (5,95€); y la de crudités con espuma de Salsiki(5,95€). La primera es una ensalada sencilla que no me dijo mucho, sin embargo de la otra nos sorprendió muy gratamente la espuma que acompaña a las verduras crudas. De hecho repetimos. :)

Como segundos pedimos: albóndigas de sepia en gazpachuelo malagueño (7,50€), tallarines frescos Udon en carbonara de crustáceos y quisquillas marinadas (7,80€), migas de pastor con jengibre, secreto ibérico con mango y curry picante (5,90€), y mini-hamburguesa de lomo de canguro marinada en Soja y Parmesano (7,60€)
A destacar los tallarines por su contundencia y potente sabor, aunque para mi gusto con poco sabor a marisco; la hamburguesa, llama la atención su textura y diferente gusto; y por último las migas, el fuerte contraste entre el sabor del picadillo, el jengibre y el curry… sólo para gente valiente, pero merece la pena.

Además tienes dos menús, uno de tapas por 16€ y otro de degustación por 35€ mucho más completo. Pero si lo que queréis es picotear, nosotros cenamos de todo, nos pusimos hasta arriba, con botella de vino incluido, y salimos a 26€/persona…

Y como broche final comentar que el servicio fue atento en todo momento, nos lo explicó todo con cariño y nos aconsejó certeramente.
